Eureka College Freshman seminar class creates geocache course

EUREKA - For their service-learning project, Dr. Whitson’s First Year Seminar class created a plan to promote a healthy lifestyle through exercise and exploration. Part of their plan includes a geocaching course on the Eureka College campus. Each student hid his or her own geocache in a location with important ties to either the student or the college. Along with hiding their geocaches, students compiled an annotated bibliography and an article describing geocaching and its benefits. The geocaches will be up on geocaching.com shortly, where they can be found by searching Eureka College's address.
