Open Houses Set For eureka college weekend degree completion Program
Organizational leadership co-horts
Eureka College has set open houses to provide prospective students with information about its weekend degree completion program. The program allows students to complete a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership on weekends.
Open houses are set for 7:30 p.m. Jan. 28 in the Gammon Room in Melick Library at Eureka College; 7 p.m. Jan. 31 in Room CCB 1406 at Heartland Community College, Normal; 7 p.m. Feb. 5 in Room C-325 at Illinois Valley Community College, Oglesby; and 7 p.m. Feb. 7 in the Founder’s Room in the Academic Building at Illinois Central College, East Peoria.
The weekend program format is geared toward busy individuals who might find it challenging to complete their degree in a regular semester format. Those who have obtained a transferable associate's degree or who have completed a minimum of 51 hours of transferable credit hours are eligible to be considered for admission.
Classes meet over five successive semesters every other weekend on Friday evenings and all day Saturdays. The program takes approximately 20 months to complete. The program prepares students to assume management-focused leadership positions at organizations in both the public and private sectors. The program is based on a cohort model in which students take each class together throughout the entirety of the program.
