Informational Meetings Set For Eureka College Weekend Degree Program
April 14, 16, 20 and 23
Eureka College has set open houses to provide prospective students with information about its weekend degree completion program. The program allows students to complete a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership on weekends and prepares them to assume management-focused leadership positions at organizations in both the public and private sectors
Open houses will be April 14 in Room CCB 1406 at Heartland Community College, Normal; April 16 in Room C-316 Building C at Illinois Valley Community College, Oglesby; April 20 at Melick Library at Eureka College; and April 23 in the Founder’s Room in the Academic Building at Illinois Central College, East Peoria. They begin at 7 p.m.
The weekend format is geared toward individuals who find it challenging to complete a degree in a regular semester format. Those with a transferable associate's degree or who have completed a minimum of 51 hours of transferable credit hours are eligible to be considered for admission.
Classes meet five successive semesters every other weekend on Friday evenings and all day Saturdays. It takes approximately 20 months to complete. It is based on a cohort model in which students take every class together throughout the entirety of the program.
For additional information or to register to attend an open house, register on-line or contact the Center for Lifelong Learning at (309) 467-6678 or e-mail at LLEdCtr@eureka.edu.
