Eureka College names assistant director of development

Kelly Gschwend of Morton was named assistant director of development at Eureka College effective March 2.

In the newly created position, Gschwend will assist with the development office’s annual fundraising campaigns, capital campaigns, special appeals and special events.

Gschwend formerly was assistant director of admissions at Bradley University, Peoria, and Lincoln College, Lincoln. The Sandwich native received a bachelor’s degree in advertising and a master’s degree in human service administration, both from Bradley University.

Gschwend’s husband, Josh Gschwend, is a graduate of Eureka College, where he was a Ronald Reagan Fellow. He is mathematics teacher at Pekin Community High School.
