Senior art show opens Saturday at Eureka College

Eureka College student Erin Bennett of Bolingbrook will present her senior art show titled “White Noise” March 21-April 11 in the Burgess Hall Art Gallery at Eureka College. An opening reception will be from 4-6 p.m. March 21. The public is welcome. A senior art exhibit is required of all art majors at Eureka College.    

Bennett will exhibit more than 35 paintings, photographs, ceramic pieces and a short film. The ceramic pieces will be offered for sale. 

The show is about “the hidden details that communication often can leave behind,” Bennett said. “What you see or hear may not be what it seems. My art attempts to show the secret messages to everyday life, especially when it comes to people.”

The daughter of David and Laureen Bennett of Bolingbrook is a 2005 graduate of Romeoville High School.
