Wind quintet to perform at Eureka College

February 17 - 7:30PM - McCallister Hall

The Heart of Illinois Wind Quintet will perform at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 17 in McCallister Hall in the Chapel at Eureka College. The performance is free. A reception will follow.

The program will feature works by Stravinsky, Jacob, Grieg, Joplin, Poulenc, Lennon and McCartney.  The "Four Norwegian Dances" by Edvard Grieg will be performed in collaboration with the Tazwood Dance Company under the direction of Mary Dexter.

Members of the group are Grant Gillett, bassoon; Nancy Gillett, oboe; Sherril Diepenbrock, clarinet; Randi Lancaster, flute; Phillip Lancaster, horn; and Myrna Bietz, piano.
