Professor to Lead Organizational Leadership Program

Psychology Professor to take helm

Eureka College associate professor of psychology Ann Fulop has been appointed director of the college’s organizational leadership program.

Fulop’s duties include working with the program’s faculty to assess the program and identify opportunities to enhance students’ experiences in the program.  The program allows students to complete a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership on weekends and prepares them to assume management-focused leadership positions at organizations in the public and private sectors.

Fulop also will continue to teach psychology courses.

Fulop formerly was a human factors engineer at State Farm Insurance, Bloomington, for 11 years where she led an innovation team that used psychology processes and theories to solve business challenges. Before that, she did similar work at Bell Laboratories, Holmdel, N.J., for five years.

Fulop received a doctorate in industrial/organizational psychology. She teaches a course in that subject in the organizational leadership program.

“Dr. Fulop’s corporate and academic backgrounds make her an excellent fit for this new position,” said Eureka College Provost and Dean Philip Cavalier.
