Eureka College names grant writing coordinator

Jill Kruse of Eureka was named grant writing coordinator at Eureka College in January.

Kruse’s duties include identifying foundations, corporations and government agencies that might offer financial support to Eureka College; building relationships with granting agencies and establishing interest in the funding needs of the college; writing and submitting grant proposals, usually in collaboration with others on campus; and tracking and recording the grant writing activity of the college.

Kruse formerly was assistant director of the annual fund at Loras College, Dubuque, Iowa, from which she received a bachelor’s degree in history.
