Dancers to perform at diversity event at Eureka College
January 30 - 7:00 PM - Cerf Center
A variety of dancers will perform in “A Night Around the World” from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 30 in the Cerf Center at Eureka College as part of an event promoting diversity on campus.
Performers will be from Flynn’s Irish Dancers, Peoria Latin Vibe, Saméba, Pava’s Gems and Body Fitness, Inc., all of Peoria. The show is free and open to the public.
The show will be part of a weekend-long event called Providing Resources, Opportunities and Movements, or PROM. The event will bring together students from high schools in inner cities to attend seminars and events designed to show them that a college education is a desirable and attainable goal for them, according to event organizer Renell Ridley, administrative assistant to the college provost.
