Peoria Symphony Chamber Players to perform music of Beethoven April 19
April 19 - 7:30 pm
The Peoria Symphony Chamber Players will perform “The Genius of Beethoven” at 7:30 p.m. April 19 in the Cerf Center at Eureka College.
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students.
The program will include “Cello Sonata No. 3 in A Major, Opus 69”; “Trio in D Major, Opus 70, No. 1,” known as “The Ghost”; and “Piano Sonata in D minor, Opus 31, No. 2,” known as “The Tempest."
Performers will be pianist John Orfe, violinist Marcia Henry Liebenow and cellist Adrian LaRosa Ransom.
The concert is the last of five performances by the Peoria Symphony Chamber Players at Eureka College this academic year. The Chamber Players is comprised of rotating members of the Peoria Symphony Orchestra with a passion for chamber music and chamber orchestra repertoire.
