Eureka College Announces New Faculty Members
for 2011-2012 academic year
Eureka College has announced new faculty members for the 2011-2012 academic year that will begin Aug. 24.
They are:

assistant professor of psychology Marygrace Kaiser of Palmetto Bay, Fla. Kaiser formerly taught at the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Fla. She received a bachelor’s degree from Illinois Wesleyan University, Bloomington, and a master’s degree and a doctorate, both from the University of Miami.

assistant professor of American literature Maria O'Malley of Chicago. O'Malley formerly taught at Briar Cliff University, Sioux City. She received a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, a master's degree from New York University, New York, and a doctorate from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

assistant professor of education Duce McCune of Bloomington, Ind. McCune formerly taught at Indiana University, Bloomington, and Purdue University, West Lafayette, Ind. He received a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and a master’s degree from the University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Scotland. He is completing his doctorate at Indiana University.

assistant professor of physical education Rebecca Gohs of St. Louis. Gohs formerly taught at Missouri Baptist University, St. Louis. She received a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University, Lubbock; a master’s degree from Western Illinois University, Macomb; and did doctoral studies at Texas Woman’s University, Denton.

assistant professor of environmental studies Renee Mullen of Congerville. Mullen was a visiting professor at Eureka College during the 2010-2011 academic year. She received a bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, N.C., and doctorate from the University of Colorado, Denver.

visiting assistant professor of western civilization Joe Cunningham of Hanna City. Cunningham was a lecturer at Eureka
College during the 2010-2011 academic year. He received a bachelor’s degree from Greenville College, Greenville; a master’s degree from Aquinas Institute of Theology, St. Louis; and a doctorate from the University of Manchester, Manchester, England.
