Art Instructor Meda Rives to Attend Conference, Display Artwork This Summer

 

Eureka College lecturer in art Meda Rives will attend a conference and display her artwork at juried and invitational exhibitions this summer.

Rives will attend the Book Art Biennial at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts in Minneapolis in July.

Rives also will display artwork at three international exhibitions. They are "2011 Paper Art Biennial," an exhibition of large-scale paper two-dimensional and three-dimensional art, in Sofia, Bulgaria; “In Between,” which presents works of international paper artists from the East and the West, at the Wilfrid Israel Museum of Asian Arts and Studies in Israel; and "Mini Textile Art 5th International Exhibition," an exhibition of mini textiles measuring 30 by 30 by 30 centimeters, in Kherson, Ukraine.

Rives also will exhibit works at  “Artists Book Cornucopia II” at Abecedarian Gallery, Denver, Colo., and “The Illustrated Accordion” at Kalamazoo Book Arts Center, Kalamazoo, Mich.
