Eureka College Elects Trustees, Officers

 

The Eureka College Board of Trustees recently elected trustees and officers. Elected to six-year terms were:

  • Lance “Tony” Byerly of Naperville, president and chief operating officer at Stanley Convergent Security Solutions. He received a bachelor’s degree in social science and business from Eureka College in 1989.

  • the Rev. Teresa Dulyea-Parker of Bloomington, regional minister and president of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Illinois and Wisconsin. She received a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University, a master of divinity degree from Christian Theological Seminary and a doctor of ministry degree from Ecumenical Theological Seminary.

  • Gregory Folley of Peoria, a vice president at Caterpillar Inc. with responsibility for the Remanufacturing and Components Division. He received a bachelor’s degree and a juris doctor degree, both from the University of Notre Dame.

     

  • Stephen Hathway of Green Bay, Wis., a retired physician. He received a bachelor’s degree from Eureka College in 1963. He received a master’s degree and medical degree, both from Indiana University School of Medicine.

  • Harry Williams III of Bolingbrook, facilities services senior manager at Boeing in Chicago. He received a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Eureka College in 1979. He received a master’s degree from City University of Seattle and a doctorate from United Theological Seminary.


Elected to a four-year term was William King Jr. of Austin, Texas, a retired executive vice president at State Farm Mutual Automobile Co., Bloomington. He received a bachelor’s degree from Eureka College in 1971 and several insurance designations throughout his career.

Elected to a three-year term was Robert Nicks of Glen Carbon, national manager of marketing and distribution at Altin Holdings LLC. He received a bachelor’s degree from Eureka College in 1979 and a master’s degree from American College.

Elected to two-year terms were:

  • Sarah Gohl Isabel of Shoreview, Minn., an attorney in private practice. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Eureka College in 1998 and a juris doctor degree and a master of laws degree in comparative and international law, both from Duke University School of Law.

  • Charles Hershberger of Greenfield, Ind., a retired director’s research advisor at Eli Lilly Co. He received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Eureka College in 1964 and a doctorate from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and a post-doctoral degree from the University of Wisconsin. 


Elected to one-year terms as officers were chairman David Adams of Minnetrista, Minn., vice president of products and services for the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America Board of Pensions; vice chairman Robert Heitzman of Lafayette, Ind., product manager in the Large Power Systems Division at Caterpillar Inc.; treasurer Barbara Hodel of Carlock, director for Distribution Services at Caterpillar Inc.; and secretary Sandra Baner of Janesville, Wis., an attorney at Baner & Associates.
