The Orientation and Transition Program begins with JUMPstart which is designed for first-time, first-year students and TRANSFERmation which is designed for transfer students. JUMPstart and TRANSFERmation provide students the opportunity to interact with their peers and connect with current students, faculty, and staff to begin building relationships as they make the transition to life at Eureka College. The Orientation staff, along with the entire campus community, is committed to making each student’s transition to college life as successful as possible.
The second part of our Orientation and Transition Program is Welcome Week, an annual program designed to foster Eureka Spirit for both new and returning students. Welcome Week provides new and returning students with various programs and information to assist them in making the transitions to Eureka College. Students should have the opportunity through Welcome Week to get to know each other, the campus, and become comfortable with the routine of campus life. Typical events include:

- Individual Floor Meetings

- Eureka College Community Worship Service
- Freshman Seminar Meeting

On Sunday, January 11, 2015 there will be a mandatory Spring Orientation session for new Eureka College students. The Spring Orientation will include important information for all new students about student life, information technology, financial aid, the library, and college policies, as well as an opportunity to meet some of our current students and fellow new students.
Spring Orientation will begin at 12:00 pm in Moser Lobby of the Donald B. Cerf Center with Check-in followed by Lunch in the South Terrill Room. Your student ID photo will also be taken during Check-in. Throughout the day you will have the opportunity to attend a variety of informational sessions concluding with an Optional Campus Tour of the academic buildings.
