RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research interests include Singapore Math strategies for elementary/middle school students and the use of Gait Analysis in predicting and preventing running-related injuries.
TEACHING INTERESTS
My teaching focuses on applied statistics, mathematics for elementary/middle school teachers, and educational assessment.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY
I am a member of the Illinois Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (IACTE) Licensure Subcommittee, am active in the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), and serve as a reader for the Advanced Placement Statistics Exams.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
I serve as a Faculty Advisor for the Alpha Eta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega at Eureka College. I also participate in the Eureka to Peoria St. Jude Run.
UNIQUELY EUREKA EXPERIENCE
Being able to participate alongside students in Homecoming Week activities with faculty/staff colleagues.
ABOUT
An avid runner, I enjoy sharing my passion through coaching and participating with running-related charity organizations such as St. Jude Heroes and Team in Training.
