Conflict Management

Do you have the capacity to be a leader? Leadership is a set of skills and abilities that can be learned by anyone with the desire and dedication to lead.

Through role play, group activities and discussion you will develop a framework for understanding your leadership style and the various styles of followers.

You will leave this workshop with a renewed understanding of leadership, an awareness of your leadership strengths and weaknesses and the ability to practice leadership on the job site.

This workshop will present attendees with specific, proven strategies for identifying the roots of problems as well as tactics for brainstorming and implementing effective solutions.

In the first session, attendees will learn strategies, and, in the second session, they will discuss the application of those strategies in real-world contexts.

How do you build a motivated team? What really motivates people to do good work?

This workshop will help you to understand the basic psychology of human motivation (it’s not what you think) and give you techniques to help motivate people to perform on the job and collaborate with each other.

Strategies for building and leading teams will be practiced in the classroom and in the field.

This workshop will help attendees address the kind of complex, multi-party conflicts that can occur in the workplace.

Attendees will learn strategies for negotiating conflict quickly and for serving as a liaison between parties that come at a conflict from very different perspectives. Special attention will be paid to effective communication (both written and oral) strategies.
