6pm Golden “E” 50th Anniversary Dinner
Gammon Room, Melick Library

Members of the Class of 1966 will gather with their classmates for this event dedicated to 50 years of memories.

8:30–11pm MAROON (Mentoring Alumni Representing Outstanding Opportunity Networks) & GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) Launch Party.

Come out to the Eureka bowling alley back room for a casual evening of fun and catching up with old friends while welcoming the senior class of 2016 into the ranks of EC alumni. (All alumni & friends welcome)

Saturday, April 9

7–7:40am Run with Reagan Registration
Alumni Tent, Corner of Burgess Street and Reagan Drive

The Alumni Office presents “Run With Reagan,” an exciting and healthy way to kick-off the Saturday morning of Alumni Weekend! Proceeds bene- fit the Ronald W. Reagan Society of Eureka College and the Alzheimer’s Association. Cost is $30 and includes race entry, t-shirt and post-race pancake breakfast.

8am Run with Reagan Kids’ Dash / 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk ($10 for children 12 & under)

8:30am Run with Reagan 5K race begins

8–9:30am Pancake Breakfast & Race Award Ceremonies
Dickinson Commons on College Avenue

All-you-can-eat pancakes and sausage, followed by Run with Reagan recognitions. Complimentary for race participants, $5.50 per person for non-participants.

9:30am Class of 2013 Walkway Dedication

9:45am Dedication of James Jacob House & Toliver Tree
204 E. Campus, near Sanders Hall

10:30am The Labyrinth Experience.
Learn the secrets of the Labyrinth with Chaplain Bruce Fowlkes and students from Dr. Thurwanger’s freshmen seminar class who have focused on the care and understanding of the college labyrinth this year. This session will feature special guest, Warren Lynn, Executive Minister for Christian Vocations for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), and an advanced labyrinth facilitator providing leadership in vocational discernment, self-care, spiritu- al practice and wellness. 12pm Experience Eureka Luncheon
Terrill Room, Cerf Center Around the World: Exploring Earth’s Other 95% with National Geographic Expeditions. Eureka College Trustee, Flo Banwart and her husband, retired Caterpillar vice president Sid Banwart, will share sites and experiences from their “round-the-world” expeditions with The National Geographic Society. Flo and Sid will share stories, answer questions and explore the other 95% of the world’s population who do not live in the United States. Buffet lunch: $12 per person.

1:30pm Saturday Movie Matinee: “Kings Row”

Join us for a screening of the film starring Ronald Reagan

2pm SportsCenter: Eureka style
Hall of Fame Room in the Reagan Athletic Complex

Join Dr. Loren Logsdon while he shares his favorite sports stories found ‘neath the Elms. Expect a “sports center environment” as you enjoy great stories of Eureka’s athletic history.

2pm Release Your Inner-Artist!
Burgess Art Gallery

Enjoy food, wine and a fun afternoon of instructional painting of your personal masterpiece. Advanced registration required. $25 per person. Instuctors will be Professor of Art Rhea Edge & senior art major Kaitlyn Mugg ’15 of Art at the Bodega, Washington, Il.

3pm Historical Banner Walking Tour
Tour begins at Reagan Athletic Complex

Discover all of the personalities behind the alumni featured on the historical banners around campus.

3pm Academic Honors Senior Thesis Presentation
Gammon Room, Melick Library

4pm Provost’s Afternoon Tea
Moser Lobby, Cerf Center

A perfect time to get refreshed, celebrate accomplishments and get to know more about campus programs and those who benefit. All are welcome to attend this afternoon tea celebrating students, faculty, staff and administration, as well as the following programs: Academic Honors, Reagan, Sandifer and Ministry. This year’s special recognition will be the retirement of our own Dr. Loren Logsdon, Faculty Emeritus of English.

4pm A Time of Remembrance Memorial Service
Becker Auditorium, Cerf College Center

Join Chaplain Bruce Fowlkes for a time to remember and honor Eureka College family members who have passed away in the last year.

5:30pm Alumni Celebration Opening Reception
Moser Lobby, Cerf Center

Let the celebration begin.

6:30pm Alumni Celebration Dinner
Terrill Rooms, Cerf Center

A delicious buffet dinner, alumni awards presentation and the musical stylings of Kevin Hart Jazz will be featured. More jazz, dessert and dancing will follow the formal presentation. $25 per person / $40 per couple (Includes Opening Reception).
