Teaching Interests:

Professor Boehr greatly enjoys teaching, especially helping students discover mathematics in an exciting and approachable way. She teaches a variety of courses at EC, including business math, math for elementary teachers, calculus, and discrete math.

Professional Activity:

Professor Boehr began her career teaching junior high math in a public school for three years, and then pursued graduate school. She has been working and teaching in higher education ever since. Before Eureka College, she also taught at Ohio University and worked in the Math-Stat Learning Center at The Ohio State University.

Uniquely Eureka Experience:

Teaching is a passion of mine, and EC is a wonderful place to focus on student learning in small-classroom settings.

My spouse and I live here in Eureka on the farm where I grew up. We love this community. Besides teaching and tutoring math, I also teach piano lessons to young children.
