Prior to EC, I worked in higher education in various staff roles and as a history instructor. I also spent several years as a reference librarian in a public library.
I’m interested in academic support and writing center theory. In the past, I have presented papers in environmental history and historical geography.
I have taught IDS 101 and 261 at EC. My background includes teaching experience in both American and European history at other institutions.
CEGCYRA Board Member and youth soccer and basketball coach.
Eureka is truly a special place. I feel a deep connection with the history and values of this institution, and it is wonderful to be able to contribute to the EC community in whatever ways that I can.
I am married and have two sons. Oh, and a pet cat. Hobbies include reading, distance trail running, biking, word and logic puzzles, and chess.
