The Eureka experience is absolutely amazing and one-of- a-kind! It is my personal goal to help students pursue research in the environmental sciences and at Eureka that is not only possible, but also required. The community of faculty, staff, and administration at the college is focused on student success and engagement; our goal is for our students to succeed!
I am originally from this part of Central Illinois, but spent my college career and over 10 post-graduate years living and working in the Southeastern states and the Caribbean. I was able to travel internationally frequently during that time and spent close to a year in Nicaragua for my doctoral research on sea turtle conservation. In my free time, I love being with my husband and two small children, especially outdoors (playing, hiking, and exploring). I also enjoy gardening, exercising (running, biking, swimming), traveling to new places, and being near the water.
