The partnership between Eureka College and City Colleges of Chicago is important to both institutions as a means of increasing access to and success in educational programs for all students, which both institutions are committed to serving.
Eligibility Criteria
Below are the steps a student must engage in to enter the
- Deadline to apply to Eureka College: Rolling Admission. As such, Eureka evaluates applications for the Uniquely Eureka Promise as they are received and continues to evaluate applications until all slots are filled for the incoming transfer class. CCC students who complete an Associate’s degree and have a 2.8 or higher GPA will be given every consideration for financial assistance and will be eligible for the following scholarships at Eureka College.
- Minimum GPA to enter the Uniquely Eureka Promise: 2.8
- Minimum completed credit hours to enter Uniquely Eureka Promise: Completed Associates Degree
- Maximum earned credit hours to enter Uniquely Eureka Promise: 68

Benefits of CCC to EC
All eligible CCC students participating in the Uniquely Eureka Promise will receive the following benefits from EUREKA when they transfer under this Agreement:
- Early Advising and orientation programs exclusively for transfer students
- Invitations to Eureka College events
- Library and Learning Center Access
- Application Fee Waiver
- Transfer Scholarships
- Housing scholarships: STAR Scholars who meet the eligibility requirements of the Uniquely Eureka Promise will receive free room costs during their time at EUREKA
- Academic support, orientation and enrollment services to facilitate transition to Eureka College
