Bruce Darnall ’66 has written an article titled “Brewers’ TV Announcer Tells His Faith Story’s Play-by Play” on Milwaukee Brewers’ tv announcer, Brian Anderson. It was published on-line by Athletes in Action, the sports ministry for Campus Crusade for Christ. It tells about his life and his Christian faith. Teena Zindel-McWilliams ’75 was recently named Coordinator of Curriculum and Grants at Richland Community College, Decatur, IL.
Tracy Ahrens ’92 had two of her nature poems selected and published in the Prairie Writers Guild 2013 anthology called “From the Edge of the Prairie.” The Prairie Writers Guild was founded to encourage, develop and promote writers in Northwest Indiana. The anthology has been published annually since 2004.
Stacey Higgins Wharton ’00 is a teacher at St. Mark School. She lives in Peoria, IL, with her children Dany and Sydnee.
Brandi Havener Livingston ’03 is a customer advocate for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois. She resides in Illiopolis, IL, with her husband Ryan and children, Madilyn and Oliver.
John Bennet ’05 has a new position with Wrigley; he is now the National Account Manager on Sam’s Club and is living in Bentonville, AR.
Kurt Garretson ’05 is a farmer/vintner. He grows and sells specialty crops and turns most of his crops into wine. He will be selling his wine after the first of the year. Learn more at Eastgrovefarms.com. He lives in Salem, IA
Lisa Adkins Ryder ’05 and her husband, James, recently relocated to Southern Oregon where they are the new Co-Directors of Camp Latgawa–a year-round camp and retreat center located in the Rogue-Siskiyou National Forest. Camp Latgawa provides camping and retreat facilities and programs for schools, religious groups, family groups, and non-profit organizations.
Ashley Carriker ’06 is a teacher at Christ the King School. She resides in Springfield, IL.
Kyle Groenewold ’06 is a project manager for Pavlov Media.
Aaron Pilcher ’08 was admitted to the Illinois Bar and is now licensed to practice law in Illinois. Also, Larry Rhoden, candidate for U.S. Senate from South Dakota, named Aaron Political Director for the campaign. Aaron lives in Huron, SD, with his wife Lauren Bergfeld Pilcher ’09.
Jacob Etscheid ’11 is an accounting manager with Hy-Vee. He lives in West Peoria, IL.
