“…large with streams from little fountains flow, tall oaks from little acorns grow”

~David Everett (1769–1813)

Eureka College is a family

A supportive, exceptional family

Our charming, historic campus located on nearly 100 wooded acres in the heart of Illinois, offers the friendliness, comfort and support to be an effective launchpad for your leadership path. Our focus on a comprehensive liberal arts education, with major emphasis on leadership and service to others, is one-of-a-kind.

Eureka’s proximity to Peoria, Bloomington-Normal, Chicago, St. Louis, and Indianapolis makes us ideal for those looking for major market facilities, yet who like to return to a safe, secure, and small town setting. By visiting campus you will have a chance to see this incredible school for yourself.

Academic Rigor + Personal Support

Eureka College has 700 students, and our average class size is 17 students, which means personal attention to your learning and growth is our top priority.

At Eureka, you will be learning from, mentored and supported by full-time professors and respected scholars in the field.  We believe academic rigor must be paired with personalized support.

David Everett’s (1769–1813) line, “…large with streams from little fountains flow, tall oaks from little acorns grow” rings true at Eureka. Each of those lucky enough to become a part of Eureka College and our traditions find themselves supported, encouraged, and treated not as a number…but as the extraordinary and creative individuals they are.

Your Opportunity to Change the World

For 159 years, students have been using this historic, red-brick campus as their launchpad for global leadership.
