This course is a required course for all Eureka College students.  It must be taken during the first year of college.  This course covers fundamentals of the writing process with attention given to the strategies of drafting, revision, and editing. Further work in the fundamental skills of research, including finding, evaluating, and documenting sources; critical thinking; developing a research question and thesis; and writing an analytical research paper.
