June 21–24, 2018

Supplement Your Community Orchestra Experience on the Idyllic Eureka College Campus

Be a part of a four-day festival of string-playing and musical fellowship on the charming campus of Eureka College. Rehearse and perform chamber music and string orchestra repertoire. The program is designed with community orchestra string musicians in mind.

Maestro David Commanday directs the program and the orchestra, joined by a faculty of Heartland Festival Orchestra’s principals, who will coach and play side-by-side in the orchestra for the final performance.

Sessions on playing healthy and on instrument care & acquisition will be presented by guest professionals. Private lessons may be arranged during the festival by appointment and a separate fee.
