David T. Boyd
Dean of Enrollment Management
David Boyd joined Eureka College as the Dean of Enrollment Management, where he provides leadership and oversight over recruitment, admissions, enrollment and yield activities for the college and special admissions programs. A native of Chicago's South Side, David has nearly 20 years of experience in higher education, from the City University of New York (CUNY) and Purdue University Northwest to Chicago State University and (most recently) the University of Illinois Chicago, where he served as Assistant Dean for Recruitment and Admissions at the UIC Honors College.
David earned a BA in English from SUNY Empire State College, an MFA in Creative Writing from the City College of New York (CCNY) and an MA in Urban Studies from the CUNY School of Professional Studies. Presently, David is working toward a PhD in Educational Leadership, concentrating in Higher Education Administration at DePaul University. He anticipates his doctoral defense will be completed by winter of 2026. If you ask David how he plans to celebrate the completion of his doctoral journey, he will undoubtedly reply: "sleep."
