

Eureka College Earns Six Nominations in 2026 Intercollegiate Broadcasting System Awards
EUREKA, IL. – The Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS) has announced its nominees for the 2026 National Awards, to be presented in New York City on February 21, 2026.
Eureka College Radio/Television earned six nominations, tying DePaul University for the most nominations received by an Illinois institution.
Eureka College nominees include:
- Best Radio Promotion Series: Matthew Swan and Drew Danehl
- Best Radio Play-by-Play – Women’s Basketball: Matthew Swan and Andrew Schulte
- Best TV Play-by-Play: Kareem Burnett and Matthew Swan
- Best TV Graphics: Liv Hardin-Nieri
- Best TV Sports Director: Matthew Swan
- Best Press Release: Staff
Other Illinois institutions recognized include:
- Western Illinois University – 5 nominations
- North Central College – 4 nominations
- Millikin University – 4 nominations
- Eastern Illinois University – 1 nomination
- Loyola University Chicago – 1 nomination
