RESEARCH INTERESTS:
My scholarly work is currently in editing of textbooks for Immunology and Genetics. I also teach the Microbiology, Developmental Biology and Biochemistry courses. I enjoy studying Human Genetics. My affiliations with the regional medical centers is excellent. My doctoral research centered on the enzyme mechanisms of DNA repair.
TEACHING INTERESTS:
I developed the courses in Immunology and Parasitology. I also teach courses in Biochemistry, Developmental Biology, Microbiology and Genetics.

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY:
I’ve corrected the Advance Placement exams in Biology for 20 years. I am often called upon to edit textbooks, about 2 per year.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT:
I serve on the Board of Directors of Peoria Hebrew Day School and Jewish Federation of Peoria.
UNIQUELY EUREKA EXPERIENCE:
I enjoy the opportunity to teach, advise and get to know my students in small classes. I am diligent in helping them pursue their academic dreams especially towards graduate and professional school.
