

Eureka College Welcomes Largest First-Year Class in College History
Eureka -- Eureka College is proud to welcome 242 new students, which includes the largest number of first-time first-year students on record and represents an increase of 24% over last year.
The fall 2024 cohort is also the second largest total incoming class in recent history and represents the largest number of out-of-state students on record, as well as 41% who identify as racial/ethnic minority, and nearly half who are first-generation and low-income.
The College’s total enrollment is 558, holding steady for the past three years with 557 in 2023 and 559 in 2022.
“We are excited to welcome such a large fall cohort to Eureka College, thanks to the amazing work of our Admissions and Athletics teams” said President Jamel Wright. “This is a diverse class that includes ambitious and resilient learners from a wide variety of backgrounds, and we can’t wait to see how they make their mark ‘neath the elms.”
