We are pleased to invite you to join us for a meaningful campus gathering as we come together in reflection, learning, and community to honor the enduring legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This event provides an opportunity to pause, engage in thoughtful conversation, and recommit ourselves to the values of justice, equity, and service that continue to guide Dr. King’s work and vision.

On Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 12:15 PM, we are honored to welcome Dr. Nathan Stephens, Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work at Illinois State University, as a guest speaker/lecturer on our campus. Dr. Stephens will lead a thought-provoking discussion on identity, cultural humility, and our collective responsibility as change agents within our communities, topics that remain deeply relevant as we reflect on Dr. King’s legacy.

Location: Becker Auditorium
Time: 12:15 PM
Light refreshments will be provided

This event is proudly sponsored by the Office of Student Life and the Office of the Provost, whose partnership reflects our shared commitment to fostering meaningful dialogue, learning, and community engagement across campus.
