EC Scholarship Opportunities

In addition to awards offered upon admission, Eureka College is pleased to offer endowed scholarships on an annual basis.  These scholarships were established by individuals, including alumni, who care deeply about EC and its students.

Each year in January, the Scholarship Committee identifies all students eligible for endowed scholarships.  The candidate pool will consist of all students in either one of the following categories:

  • Students currently enrolled at EC and returning for fall with a minimum GPA of 2.25

  • Incoming students who have already deposited at EC with a minimum high school GPA of 2.3

Because individual award criteria varies according to donor specifications, the Scholarship Committee will invite qualified faculty and staff to nominate recipients from the candidate pool. After reviewing nominations, the Scholarship Committee will select awardees and notify them by the end of spring semester each year.  Scholarships will be applied to the student’s account the following year.

Please note that recipients of full-tuition awards through the Reagan, Disciples Leadership, Promise and Tuition Waiver programs are ineligible to receive these additional scholarships.
