TEACHING INTERESTS:
I teach the Principles of Biology courses which are geared towards students interested in majoring in biology or pre-professional programs. I also teach the anatomy and physiology courses. I enjoy teaching courses in microbiology and immunology as well.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY:
National Association for Biology Teachers.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT:
I am involved in activities within district 140 and at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and I am also a member of the Eureka College Women’s Board and I participate in Eureka College Alumni activities.
UNIQUELY EUREKA EXPERIENCE:
I am a Eureka College graduate. My husband and enjoyed the quaint and friendly atmosphere of the college. When the opportunity arose, we decided to move back here and make the town of Eureka our home.
ABOUT:
I enjoy my role as an advisor to incoming students. The courses that I teach allow me to establish a relationship with my students early in their college careers, which can be built upon as they progress through their college years.
