Reagan and Sandifer Fellows' Mentorships

Soraya Allen:  12/15 /18 - 1/12/19; Mentorship involved working with seven different 24-hour transitional residences working with adults aged 24-62 with a variety of diagnoses, including schizophrenia, bipolar, depression, cutting, TBI, anxiety, and drug use.

Elsie Croasdale: 5/24 - 8/5/19; Mentorship will involve creating workshops on social justice and peace issues for presentations at various summer camps.

Location: Disciples Peace Fellowship- Seattle, WA

Major: History and Political Science- Pre-law


Jacob Doan: 5/28 - 6/10/19; Mentorship will involve creating new educational programming and expanding/improving the museum’s existing materials.

Location: The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum- Atlanta, GA

Major: English Literature Secondary Education with Teacher License


Paige Dobbyn: 6/8 - 8/2/19; Mentorship will involve a full-time position in the D.C. area for either a government agency, nonprofit organization, congressional office, etc.

Location: The Leadership and the American Presidency Internship Program Summer 2019- Washington, D.C.

Major: History and Political Science


Abigail Hilton: 5/19 - 7/3/19; Mentorship will involve working at a large domestic animal hospital gaining hands-on experience in both lab and field work.

Location: Tammany Veterinary Hospital- Corvallis, MT

Major:  Biology


Caitlin Miller: 5/23 - 7/23/19; Mentorship will involve earning Division 1 Strength and Conditioning coaching experience working directly with the Syracuse University football team.

Location: Syracuse University- Syracuse, NY

Major: Kinesiology- Exercise Science


Cameron Mitchell: 7/10 - 7/31/19; Mentorship will involve studying rural medicine in Alaska, shadowing doctors, and working with patients.

Location: Rural Immersion Institute of the North at the University of Alaska Anchorage- Anchorage, AK

Major: Biology


Allyssa Post: 5/25 - 6/15/19; Mentorship will involve night patrols of nesting sites, flipper tagging, data collection, morning surveys, and assisting with organized sea turtle watches for community groups.

Location: Ocean Spirits Leatherback Sea Turtle Program- Bathway Beach, Grenada
