Trying to navigate college is hard enough and navigating what to do after college can be even more challenging. The Office of Career Development’s mission is to provide students and alumni of Eureka College with the best available resources to prepare for and find employment in today’s world.

Check out all of these wonderful resources to help jumpstart your career:

1. Alumni Services & Opportunities to Give Back

The purpose of the Career Mentoring Program is to help Eureka College students and alumni connect with professionals with experience in their career field of interest. Students and alumni will be able to search the database by industry, job title, city/state, etc. for mentor contact information and will contact you directly by email should there be a match.

2. Career Planning, Choosing a Major and Career/Internship Fairs & Events

The Career Development Office offers the opportunity to do some career exploration and planning using standard tools of the trade (inventories) and one-on-one career planning counseling. At career/internship fairs & events, meet with employers in an informal setting and learn more about job and internship opportunities offered by companies, government agencies, and non‐profit organizations. Some fair are IN-PERSON and some are VIRTUAL.

3. Employers, Graduate & Professional School Information Fairs

Graduate & Professional School Fairs offer an excellent opportunity to speak directly with representatives from various schools to obtain information on programs, entrance requirements, application deadlines, program costs and financial assistance. These fairs are usually free to attend. Graduate fairs are typically scheduled each year in OCTOBER. Note: Due to the coronavirus pandemic, many fairs have moved to a virtual format. Eureka College students have over 25 majors from which to choose to study. They also have over 40 organizations, several athletic teams, and several fraternities to choose to contribute to as members and leaders.
