Eureka College Fine and Performing Arts Division has announced their 2021-22 Scholarship/Award Auditions

Students do not have to Major/Minor in Music or Theatre to be eligible to receive these awards.

Award Winners
- Awards of $1,000 to $3,000 per academic year renewable for up to 4 academic years based upon faculty recommendation.
- Participate in Chorale and one other music ensemble or theatre production per academic year.
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher to retain the scholarship/award.
Music Auditions Information

You may perform two songs from classical, musical theater, sacred or popular repertoire. Choose something that you are very familiar with and have worked on before. Performance from memory is required.

The Zoom Interview will include scales, tonal memory and optional sight singing.

You may perform with a live accompaniment or with a recording, piano preferred. Your entire face and body should be clearly visible and well-lit. Smartphone video recordings are acceptable as long as you can be clearly seen and heard. Recent past performances may be used with advance approval.

Submit the Audition Application and video together. The letter of recommendation from a current teacher, director or arts administrator should be sent directly from the recommender to mfinch@eureka.edu
Theatre Audition Information

For those interested in the Theatre Program or considering Theatre Major/Minor please prepare a short (2 minute) monologue and one song. Recent past performances may be used with advance approval.

For those interested in Tech Theatre -lighting, sound, sets, costumes, make-up, wigs/hair - please clearly describe your experiences in the application. You may submit a brief resume with your application (not required).

For those interested in Playwriting please submit an example of a play, short story or monologue you have written.
